καλός Drawing girls is always fun. Drawing endearing girl, however, is a challenge. Even if I have a lot of kids, be it girls and boys, I never think of my kids as something that... good-looking or cute? Rather, I actually want to try my best to avert the generic cuteness trope that can be found on my style, sigh. Drawing various facial characteristics must be fun, trying to practice on that, though! Of the all the sketch that I did for the bishoujo meme, I like Zreyn's sketch most, so I thought to give it a try for coloring practice! Still not used and not entirely pleased, but well I start to find comfort so yyyep, will stick as it is for the time being. And, yes, like a certain friend of mine said, when you see no hope in your drawing, try overlay. It works. It indeed works. I'm already get used as of lately especially in sketching! It's more interesting this way! The downside probably because the fact that I already finished most of my works on this month, so I don't know what to draw... instead of sketching aimlessly. Yes. So, I start working on some prompts that I have piled up from some month ago... bit by bit. Drawing big gap in height difference is fun! Real fun! My daughter with my friend's son! Minion parody because of dumb idea we discussed some months ago, haha... I might color another version of this on April! Come to think of it, it's been awhile since the last time I draw a full-body picture for personal use? I've been thinking on renewing the concept art of my kids, SM! kids especially, and I have no plan whatsoever on what to draw on April, so might as well try it, if I have the time. I need to update my monthly organizer as well, come to think of it... The last work that done in this month!
The piece for a Ensemble Stars, Transfer Student Zine. It's my first time to participate in a zine, so it caught me by surprise that I actually chosen, thank you very much! Working on this piece is fun! Actually, I intended to make this piece as the last work that I would do with optical mouse. However, circumstances changed, and in the end, this is my first serious work with the tablet. I'm nervous and anxious, but it turned out pretty good so I'm happy! That's it and until the next entry!
